AI photography
Photographs on this site have been edited with AI — not one has been generated. We say so on the picture, inside the file, and here.
What AI was used for
Rebuilding a frame
Rooms, rails and garments were restyled and extended with AI, working from photographs we supplied. Nothing here was generated from scratch.
Adding and removing people
The women browsing in some frames were added by AI — they are not photographs of real visitors.
Clearing the frame
Chairs, stands and other objects that were in the way have been removed.
Compositing and grading
Several pictures are assembled from more than one frame, and each has been colour-graded so the set reads as one.
Marked in the file
Each photograph also carries a machine-readable declaration inside the file — the IPTC “trained algorithmic media” source label — so the disclosure travels with the image when it is downloaded, shared or reposted.
Why we state it
Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) requires anyone publishing AI-generated or AI-manipulated imagery to disclose it, and to mark it so that it can be detected. The obligation applies from 2 August 2026.
